Dr. Moji E. Bagheri, D.M.D
Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics
Dr. Moji Bagheri has been practicing dentistry since 2009. He received his dental education at Boston University where he graduated top ten percentile of his class. Dr. Bagheri practiced as a general dentist for three years in New York before pursuing his interest in the field of Endodontics at the prestigious Rutgers University in New Jersey. There, he completed a two-year specialty training program under directorship of world-renowned Dr. Gary Hartwell, past president of American Association of Endodontist. After his training was completed, he moved and settled in Orange County, California with his wife and has become a father of two lovely girls. Since then, he has been conducting over 2500 root canal procedures each year.
Dr. Bagheri has gone beyond the endodontic specialty education and licensing requirements of the American Dental Association by becoming Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics, a distinguished level of commitment achieved by only 25% of practicing endodontist. Through this achievement, he has demonstrated his dedication to professional growth and to providing the highest quality of patient care.
As an endodontist, Dr. Bagheri strives to deliver the best treatment experience possible by using the latest techniques and state of the art technology and equipment in his office, including Cone Beam CT and digital radiographs. In addition, Dr. Bagheri is pleased to be one of the few endodontists in South California who offers highly effective BIOLASE Waterlase™ technology in his office. Waterlase Dentistry is revolutionizing the way certain dental procedures, including root canal treatments, are performed. Root canal has a negative connotation to it, and Dr. Bagheri’s ultimate goal is to change that perception by providing a service that exceeds his patients’ expectations.
Dr. Bagheri’s passion in the field of endodontics is not limited to providing the best service to his patients but also contributing to the field of dentistry by inventing the Accufile, a new hand file instrument that has eased the process and increased the accuracy of root canal therapy. Accufile is available through BrasselerUSA for use by many practitioners domestic and abroad.
In his spare time, Dr. Bagheri enjoys reading biographies and historical books, spending time with his family and friends, and practicing Calligraphy. He is also an avid soccer player. Spending a great amount of time in the East Coast, Dr. Bagheri was a devoted fan of New York City before moving to Orange County, but he became fascinated by the mesmerizing scenery of Laguna Beach, its vivid culture and its great people, and thus, decided to establish his practice in Laguna Beach.
